I went to Duluth last year, but we were only there at night for the Christmas Lights and dinner. This time we went during the day. Luckily, our friend, Joe recommended Lake Ave Cafe for lunch. I'll be honest, when I first looked at the menu, I was like...what is this?! We were not feeling it. Then, we ordered. It was SOOO good, and everything else we saw coming out looked equally amazing! I would definitely recommend it. Downstairs was a restaurant called Amazing Grace which was recommended to us too, but we didn't have time to eat there. The food looked super good there too!
Of course we went to check out the Lift Bridge which is 1 of only 2 working Aerial Lift Bridges in the world. I thought that was pretty cool. However, the must of the trip was Enger Tower. It's a lovely tower, and after you climb a few flights of stairs, you have a beautiful view of the city.
We also drove to Glensheen Mansion, but we were too cheap to take the tour:)
